Brief Description

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

  1. Reconcile Bills of Lading with customer delivery confirmations to ensure accurate shipment records.
  2. Manage overall delivery progress in accordance with the customer’s production plan.
  3. Communicate with the in-plant third-party logistics (3PL) dispatcher throughout the work shift to provide updates and input on shipment priorities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  4. Conduct daily analysis of customer demand data, transportation dispatch schedules, and production output to ensure operational efficiency and alignment.
  5. Manage Daily/ Monthly transportation and sales closing.
  6. Manage new model part shipments while maintaining close coordination with the customer.
  7. Provide backup support to the sales scheduler whenever required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Coordinate the delivery of returned orders from customers.
  2. Generate a daily shortage report and spreadsheet forecasting shipping quantities by analyzing current inventory, scheduled production, and customer demand.
  3. Manage the loading process of short quantities to ensure complete and accurate customer order fulfillment.
  4. Prepare and post on-site notices for team members.
  5. Prepare material for customer correspondence.
  6. Purchase supplies for the Sales Department.
  7. Review shipping dock and sales floor inventory layout on a quarterly basis.
  8. Develop and improve the shipping and SAP modules between the sales department and the customer.
  9. Create a summary of daily and weekly transportation issues.

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties as assigned.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, warehousing, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
  2. Proficiency in Windows Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  3. Experience with ERP Systems preferred, not required
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  7. Proficiency in Korean and English preferred, not required.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

  1. Responsible to upper management for overseeing all phases of departmental activities and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  2. Provides guidance, consultation, and coordination with the following stakeholders:
    Sales Department Manager
    B. Team Leaders and Team Members, as necessary
