Tier 1 supplier of OEM parts to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America
In May 2022, Governor Brian Kemp and Hyundai Motor Group announced that Hyundai Motor Group will open its first fully dedicated electric vehicle (EV) and battery manufacturing facility at the Bryan County Mega Site.
In December 2022, Governor Kemp announced that Joon Georgia, DBA, Ajin Georgia would be the first supplier to Hyundai Motor group and would construct a facility in Bulloch County. As a Tier 1 supplier, Ajin Georgia will provide interior metal structural parts.
Construction of the modern stamping and robotic welded metal fabrication facility began in early 2023. Building completion and equipment installation is scheduled for early 2024. Hiring of various types of positions will be begin in early 2024 with production starting in mid-2024.
