Brief Description

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

  1. Generate shipping labels and Bills of Lading to support the forklift team in fulfilling customer orders efficiently.
  2. Create Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) in the customer’s ERP system to notify them of upcoming deliveries and estimated arrival times.
  3. Communicate with the in-plant third-party logistics (3PL) dispatcher throughout the work shift to provide updates and input on shipment priorities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  4. Conduct inventory checks for parts within the Sales department to ensure stock accuracy and availability.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Ensure accurate maintenance of shipping records, including bills of lading, packing lists, and transportation documents.
  2. Manage customer inquiries concerning shipment timelines, transit delays, and shipping documentation, ensuring accurate and detailed information is provided.
  3. Coordinate with other departments to align shipping schedules with production timelines and inventory availability.
  4. Address and resolve customer shortages caused by mislabeling or RFID discrepancies by coordinating additional parts deliveries as needed.
  5. Report returned parts to the Quality Control supervisor and coordinates the movement back to the Quality Control Department.
  6. Report emergency situations to the Sale Department Managers for appropriate action.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

  1. Excellent Excel and computer related skills.
  2. Experience with ERP Systems.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  6. Good documentation and organization skills.
