Brief Description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

  1. Quality control of production processes
  2. Analysis and improvement of quality issues
  3. Supplier Quality
  4. Customer Response Quality
  5. Quality system operation
  6. Inspection equipment and instrument management

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Establishment of Inspection Standard for Quality Inspection and Inspection by Production Process
  2. Performing In-Process Inspection and Final Inspection during the process
  3. Statistical Process Control (SPC)-based capability analysis and management
  4. Immediate Line Stop and Improvement Measures in the event of quality failure
  5. Analysis of the cause of defective products (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D Report, etc.)
  6. Leading Control Plan Update and Improvement Activities
  7. Establishment and management of measures to prevent recurrence
  8. Manage internal failure rates (PPMs) and drive objectives
  9. Partner quality audit and evaluation
  10. Partner Initial Approval Procedure (PPAP/PSW) Review and Approval
  11. Request for action and verify improvement in case of part quality issues
  12. Analyzing and responding to customer quality requirements
  13. Receive customer complaints (Claim/Complaint) and prepare 8D reports
  14. OEM Customer Audit Response and Preparation
  15. IATF16949 Quality Management System Document Management
  16. Conduct internal quality audits and manage corrective actions
  17. Analysis of quality data and preparation of periodic quality reports
  18. Measurement (MSA) management and regular calibration
  19. Perform measurement system analysis (MSA)
  20. Review of maintenance of inspection equipment and introduction of new equipment

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

  1. Engineering major (mechanical, automotive, industrial engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience
  2. Experience in manufacturing quality control or production quality
  3. Understanding quality analysis tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.)
  4. Primary Design Drawings (2D/3D) and Tolerance Interpretable Preference
  5. Preferential automotive industry quality experience (including OEM primary partners)
  6. IATF16949 Preferential Treatment for Internal Auditors
  7. Preferred availability of statistics-based analysis tools (such as Minitab)
  8. Preferential treatment for English and global customers
