Brief Description
MAJOR FUNCTION:
- Quality control of production processes
- Analysis and improvement of quality issues
- Supplier Quality
- Customer Response Quality
- Quality system operation
- Inspection equipment and instrument management
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Establishment of Inspection Standard for Quality Inspection and Inspection by Production Process
- Performing In-Process Inspection and Final Inspection during the process
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)-based capability analysis and management
- Immediate Line Stop and Improvement Measures in the event of quality failure
- Analysis of the cause of defective products (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D Report, etc.)
- Leading Control Plan Update and Improvement Activities
- Establishment and management of measures to prevent recurrence
- Manage internal failure rates (PPMs) and drive objectives
- Partner quality audit and evaluation
- Partner Initial Approval Procedure (PPAP/PSW) Review and Approval
- Request for action and verify improvement in case of part quality issues
- Analyzing and responding to customer quality requirements
- Receive customer complaints (Claim/Complaint) and prepare 8D reports
- OEM Customer Audit Response and Preparation
- IATF16949 Quality Management System Document Management
- Conduct internal quality audits and manage corrective actions
- Analysis of quality data and preparation of periodic quality reports
- Measurement (MSA) management and regular calibration
- Perform measurement system analysis (MSA)
- Review of maintenance of inspection equipment and introduction of new equipment
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:
- Engineering major (mechanical, automotive, industrial engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience
- Experience in manufacturing quality control or production quality
- Understanding quality analysis tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.)
- Primary Design Drawings (2D/3D) and Tolerance Interpretable Preference
- Preferential automotive industry quality experience (including OEM primary partners)
- IATF16949 Preferential Treatment for Internal Auditors
- Preferred availability of statistics-based analysis tools (such as Minitab)
- Preferential treatment for English and global customers
