Brief Description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

  1. Ensures safe, stable, and reliable operation of all production equipment and utilities
  2. Leads troubleshooting and repair of equipment failures to minimize downtime
  3. Plans and executes preventive and predictive maintenance activities
  4. Supports process improvements, new equipment installation, and cost-reduction projects in coordination with Production, Quality, and Engineering

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Performs and coordinates daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance according to PM schedule
  2. Troubleshoots equipment breakdowns on stamping, welding, assembly, robotics, and utility systems and restores normal operation in a timely manner
  3. Ensures proper maintenance and repair techniques are applied to promote equipment reliability and product quality
  4. Monitors chronic issues, analyzes root causes of equipment failures, and develops effective corrective and preventive actions
  5. Maintains and updates maintenance records, PM check sheets, work orders, and machine history in the maintenance system
  6. Plans, requests, and manages spare parts inventory to prevent production loss due to part shortages
  7. Coordinates maintenance activities with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Safety to minimize impact on production schedules
  8. Ensures compliance with company safety rules, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures, and relevant OSHA/environmental requirements during all maintenance work
  9. Trains and mentors maintenance team members and operators on basic equipment operation, daily checks, and minor maintenance
  10. Reviews equipment technical documents, drawings, and manuals, and applies them to maintenance and improvement work
  11. Prepares reports on downtime, maintenance KPIs, maintenance cost, and improvement results for Management review
  12. Coordinates and supervises external contractors and service vendors for specialized maintenance or projects, ensuring safety and quality requirements are met
  13. Maintains compliance with customer requirements and internal procedures related to equipment capability and process stability
  14. Initiates and supports continual improvement activities in maintenance methods, tools, and standards

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Perform other tasks and special projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Department

Manager.

quality, safety, etc.) upon request.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

  1. Prefer candidates with an understanding of Mechanical, Electrical (PLC), and ROBOTICS.
  2. Ability to perform maintenance and upkeep on Factory Automation (FA) systems.
  3. Willingness to take initiative (show solseonsubeom) and proactively solve problems.
  4. Ability to collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
