Brief Description
MAJOR FUNCTION
- Manage overall delivery progress in accordance with the consumer’s production plan
- Supervise on-site and field personnel managements, including manpower, facilities, and etc.
- Negotiate and product a discussion with the client regarding delivery-related business matters and attend at meetings
- Manage logistics company management, such as drivers and trailers
- Conduct cargo volume analysis, load factor management, and preparation and reporting of delivery vehicle operations plan
- Handle overall and returned inventories from suppliers
- Prepare and report delivery-related documents
- Response to internal/external defects (document preparation and corrective action presentation)
- Conduct quarterly team safety training, including preparation of materials and reporting of results
- Proficiency of SAP system
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitor employee performance
- Assign employees to pick, package, and ship products and materials to our customers
- Reconcile daily shipping data and complete reports
- Assist with manpower needs to supplement the Receiving and Production departments
- Monitor shipments to ensure that customer specific requirements are met
- Monitor current and projected workloads to determine manning requirements to meet deadlines
- Interface with our customers through various means to ensure that we are in compliance with their prescribed shipping methods and requirements
- Notify our customers when difficulties arise in meeting their requirements and negotiate a workable solution for both parties
- Work with the carriers to ensure that we are utilizing the best service in terms of dependability and economy
- Recommend, implement, and support continuous improvement within the department and the company to improve employee performance, quality control, productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction
- Support a proactive safety environment, with emphasis on good housekeeping techniques
- Establish and periodically review departmental Standard Operating Procedures
- Prepare, evaluate, and maintain employee performance reviews and time cards
- Assist in planning and maintaining a balanced departmental budget
- Provide departmental coverage for the Production Manager in his/her absence
- Perform various other duties as required

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB
- Bachelor’s degree or above Minimum of 3 years work experience in Industrial Distribution and Warehousing, or related fields
- Proficiency in Window Excel, Power Point, Word required
- Ability to demonstrate strong supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Capability to perform multi-tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Korean and English preferred, not required
