Brief Description
General Summary
The Ajin Georgia Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the plant including safety, production, maintenance, quality, scheduling, purchasing, and cost to meet production requirements on a daily basis and to achieve annual goals.
Reporting Structure
The Plant Manager will report directly to the COO. The Operational Department Leaders will report to the Plant Manager.
Plant Management
- Review and promote plant safety and OSHA compliance
- Incorporate 3C and 5S activities into daily management
- Review production goals, improve production lines/ innovation
- Weekly or daily manager/ supervisor meetings
- Daily review of departmental achievements relating to business requirements
- Compile concise daily summary of plant performance for previous 24 hours including status of all departments
Quality Assurance
- Review yearly production business plan, review and plan new car development, check process of design, technology, manufacturing and production operating procedure review
- Review quality manufacturing process, which includes quality check list. attend regular quality TFT meetings and review QC procedures by steps. Review Claims, Lot out and after action Understand causes of defectives and review corrective action. Correspond to clients, manage and improvement of workers’ activity and attend weekly quality meeting
Operational Excellence
- Ensure plant operations are run efficiently, profitable, while safety and quality is maintained
- Daily decision making will include focus on plantwide continuous improvement
- Review monthly work plan, progress and analyze overflow by production line
- Review periodic analysis data of overflow
- Review overflow of accumulated data analysis and plant capacity and limitations
- Review production schedule and goals of daily production results
- Maintain production balance to meet all maintenance requirements
- Ensure procurement meets all scheduling requirements to reduce downtime
QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Competencies):
- Bachelors degree including 15 years or more of manufacturing leadership with preferred experience as a Tier 1 Supplier. Strong leadership skills with proven success in an OEM or Supplier environment
