Local leadership from one of Statesboro’s newest industries, AJIN Georgia, delivered Christmas a little early to 12 local non-profit, education and public safety agencies.
They presented the agencies each with a check of support totaling $40,000 at a luncheon at Uncle Shug’s Bar B Q Place on Main on Thursday. The agencies were presented the checks by by Jamie Calloway, AJIN General Manager, Human Resources.
“Today is an example of the generosity of Jung-Ho Sea, AJIN CEO and President and the importance he places on giving back and being a good corporate citizen,” said Jamie Calloway. “AJIN hasn’t even made one part and Mr. Sea is making a difference in our community and adjoining communities with these gifts of support.”
This is the second gift to members of our community made by Mr. Sea. Earlier this year, he donated high tech, Korean made refrigerators to local agencies and local Korean War Veterans.
“Mr. Sea has a special place in his heart for Korean War Veterans and what they did for his home country,” said Calloway. “If it were not for the bravery and sacrifice of so many of these Veterans he would not have been able to start his companies which have helped so many.”
In addition to Calloway other senior leadership members were in attendance including:
- Taechul Kim – COO
- Jaeik Jang – CFO
